1915 'An unfortunate speculation was said by Richard Pape, at Westminster on Saturday, to be the cause of his appearance in the dock charged with defalcations, Pape, who is 37, and lives at Woolwich Road, Belvedere, was managing director and salaried manager of the Caxton Engineering Company (Westminster), which, said Inspector Cruchett, started at the beginning of last year, Pape putting but £10 in the concern.
