Robert Harlow and Son of Heaton Norris Brass and Iron Works, Stockport.

Founded by Robert Harlow.

In the 1862 international exhibition in South Kensington the company was listed as selling 'heating apparatus'.

Bernhard Harlow, grandson of Robert, ran Robert Harlow & Sons until the 1950s. Christian Budenberg of Budenberg Gauge Co., son of Fred Budenberg became Chairman of Harlows.
