Robert Howard (1738–1812)

A wealthy tin plate manufacturer and the chief agent for introducing the Argand lamp into Britain.

Had three children with his first wife.

His second wife was Elizabeth Leatham (1742–1816) of Pontefract.

1772 Birth of first son Luke Howard with Elizabeth, at Red Cross Street, London.
