1853 of 41 Wesley Street, Liverpool, an engineer[2]

1856 Published a paper on his method of packing the slide valves of marine engines[3]

1871 Robert Waddell 55, Chief Engineer of RMS Scotia, lived in Toxteth Park, Liverpool, with Elizabeth Waddell 47[4]

1881 Robert Waddell 65, retired marine engineer, lived in Kirkdale with Isabella G. Waddell 57[5]

1890 Died in Southport[6]
