1847 Married(1) at Ashover to Anne Stoppard daughter of Aaron Stoppard of Lea

1871 Living at (?), Ashover, Winksworth: Robert Wildgoose (age 48 born Matlock), Manager of Hosier Spinner of Hosiery Manufacturer. With his wife Anne Wildgoose (age 52 born Matlock). Also a cousin, niece, visitor and one servant.[1]

1875 of Holloway, Manager of the Lea Mills.

1881 Living at Poplar, Holloway, Derbyshire: Robert Wildgoose (age 58 born Matlock), Trustee Manager for Hosiery Manufacturer employing 900 work people. With his wife Ann Wildgoose (age 60 born Lea). One servant.[2]

1891 Married(2) to Maria Elizabeth Painter daughter of John and Emmie Painter of Clifton Bristol, and they lived at The Poplars Holloway.

Robert Wildgoose was also a Director of Matlock Tram Corporation

1900 May 1st. Died at Matlock.

1900 Florence Nightingale leaves wreath on grave.[3]
