Aircraft: Two Avro Avians, one D.H.53.

Aerodrome and Railway Station: Farnborough, Hants.

  • This was the first light aeroplane club to be formed and commenced by designing and constructing its own aircraft. Originally confined to the staff of the Royal Aircraft Establishment, membership has now been extended to the public.
