1819 One of the partners in the formation of Lloyds, Fosters and Co

1823 Baptised in Liverpool; living in Fakenham[1]

1823/4 Entered the partnership which became Williams, Foster and Co with his brothe Joseph T. Foster of Norwich.

1824 Married Mary Fry in Tottenham[2]

1831 Birth of son Sampson Lloyd Foster; baptised in Colney, Norfolk[3]

By 1837 was still as partner in Lloyds, Fosters and Co

1851 Sampson Foster 54, banker, lived in Norwich with Mary Foster 50, Sarah E Foster 21, Joseph Foster 16, Charles J Foster 6[4]

1870 Died in Southampton[5]
