In internal combustion engines for cycles, the construction of a self-contained power unit comprising engine, carburettor, magneto and transmission gear, so that the whole can be mounted beneath the usual bottom bracket and between the cranks of ordinary pedal bicycle, the complete power unit being slung from the bottom tube and chain stays of the cycle frame.'
