Sashena




SASHENA Limited (an acronym for "Sanitary Absorbent Safe Hygienic Every Nurse Advocates"), an industrial cellulose towel product. The product line was later known by the trade name "Lilia".
1912 Sashena was bought by Smith and Nephew
1928 the Sashena Ltd subsidiary was incorporated[1]
The line was later known by the trade name "Lilia"
1954 The line continued with the introduction of the Lil-lets brand of tampons (presumably after Smith and Nephew had acquired Southall Brothers and Barclay)
