1901 Straker Steam Vehicle Co formed by Sidney Straker and Lionel Robert Littler Squire [1]
1903 The company started selling German-built Bussings in the UK. The demand was so great that the company had to change premises in Bristol.
1906 The Straker Steam Vehicle Co's name was changed to Sidney Straker and Squire Ltd[2] [3]
1906 Erected offices, repair works and garage in Nelson Sq, London.
1906 A modified version of a French design of car was made for the company in Bristol[4]
1906 Details of their 25 hp 'C.S.B.' touring car. The cars are being built in France by Cornilleau et Sainte Beuve (C.S.B.).[5][6]
1907 Sidney Straker and Squire exhibited an omnibus chassis and omnibuses at Olympia[7]
1907 A Straker-Squire car was second in a race at Brooklands[8]
Brazil, Straker and Co in Bristol made a car designed by Roy Fedden assisted by Leonard Butler. It was named Shamrock.
1908 London General Omnibus Co were running 261 Straker-Squire's.
1908 Sidney Straker and Squire advertised Straker-Squire cars as "All British"[9]

1910 For 4 years the company had specialised in the 15hp 4-cylinder car[14]

1913 Brazil, Straker and Co manufactured the cars for Straker-Squire; they had erected a new factory at Fishponds to make Straker-Squire chassis; specials were made at the Nelson Sq. premises[16]
1913 Straker-Squire (1913) Ltd was founded to acquire as a going concern the business of the company, makers and traders in motor vehicles. Products included:[17]
- 15 hp Straker-Squire car
- Straker-Squire public service cars
- Straker-Squire brewers's lorries and vans
- Straker-Squire ambulances, lorries
- Straker-Squire railway delivery vans.
