John Slee & Co of Earlestown, Lancashire

1878 John Slee granted Patent No. 1174 for improvements in direct-acting steam pumps [1]

c.1889 Steam pumping engine for Collins Green Colliery, having two cylinders 27" bore, 2' 6" stroke [2]

1897 built a steam railway locomotive. May have been agents[3] The 1897 locomotive was made for Plynlimon and Hafan Tramway

Pair of coupled air compressors, 20" steam cylinders, 20" air cylinders, 3' stroke, by John Slee & Co., Earlestown, included in auction sale of assets of Oakley Collieries, Dunfermline, 1915[4]

A hand crane by J Slee & Co survives at Fradley Junction,near Lichfield [5]
