1903 The oil part of the business of Stern Brothers was renamed Stern-Sonneborn Oil Co Ltd[1]

1907 Moved to Finsbury Square[2]. Converted to a private limited company[3]. Sterns Ltd was registered in this year.

c.1914 Successor to Stern-Sonneborn Oil Co

Suppliers of Sternol, Screwol, Sentenol and Ambroleum

1928 The oil business was sold to a new company incorporated as Sternol Ltd for this purpose[4]
