Maker of carbon filament lamps, of Gateshead

1887 Company formed by William Clarke, A. H. Chapman and Charles Algernon Parsons; located at Park House on the Clarke Chapman site

1895 The company was inactive in lamp manufacture until 1895 when a major expansion took place[1]

1897 Claimed to be the only British maker of incandescent lamps outside London; also X-ray photographic tubes[2]

1912 Company liquidated
