c1825 Born in Heysham/Manchester

1851 March 27th. Married in Manchester to Emma Wovenden. He is an Ironmonger of Victoria Street and the son of Richard Richmond, a farmer.

1861 Living at Laugham Road, Bowdon, Cheshire: Thomas Richmond (age 36 born Heysham), Ironmonger. With his wife Emma Richmond (age 34 born Manchester) and their daughter Ruth Richmond (age 1 month born Bowdon). Also his niece Elizabeth Wovenden (age 20 born Manchester) and his mother-in-law Ann Woovenden (age ? born Manchester). Two servants.[1]

1871 Thomas Richmond 45, iron monger, lived in Bowdon, Altrincham, with Emma Richmond 43, Ruth Richmond 10, Sagar Richmond 8[2]
