Stonemason and Builder

Thomas Woodcock was taken on to design and construct the two blast furnaces planned for Low Moor, following a recommendation from Edward Smalley. Smalley had become acquainted with Woodcock during the construction of the furnaces at the Haigh Works of Lord Balcarres.[1]
