1897 Company founded, involving Weldless Tube Co and others - Climax Tube Works, Credenda Tube Works, Star Tube Works, Birmingham and St. Helens Tube Works, St. Helens (see advert)

1906 Private company. The company was registered on 14 December, in reconstruction of a company of the same name, and carries on the business of manufacturers of weldless steel tubes. [1]

1919 Tube Investments was registered as a public company, combining the seamless steel tube manufacturing companies of Tubes Limited, Credenda Conduits Co, Simplex ConduitsLtd, Star Tube Co and St. Helen's Tube and Metal[2][3].

1921 Tube Investments floated Bromford Ltd as a separate company; Tube Investments subscribed for a large part of the share capital[4]

1937 Listed Exhibitor - British Industries Fair. Cold Drawn Weldless Steel Tube, ¼ in. (6.35 mm) to 14½ in. (36.8 cm) bore, for all purposes. Axle and Torque Tubes, for road vehicles. Resistco Stainless Special Alloy Tubes. Export sales see British Tube Mills (Export) Ltd. [5]

1961 Manufacturers of hot rolled and cold drawn seamless steel tubes and tubular forgings. 2,150 employees. [7]

1968 Queen's Award to Industry for Technological Innovation with Tube Investments. [8]

1976 Company name changed to TI Tubes Ltd
