1840 His two nephews William Titford and Richard Vandome Titford acceded to the firm.
1885 Purchased the business of William Williams and Sons of Cannon Street.
1904 Incorporated as a limited company.
1914 Scale and weighing machine manufacturers. Specialities: bankers' scales, scales for tea tasters, wrought iron weighing machines for docks and wharves, large beam scales. Bankers' scales was a prominent feature; the company made scales for the Bank of England and H. M. Customs for over two hundred years.
