1793 The firm of W. W. and R. Johnson was formed.

1862 W. W. and R. Johnson and Sons exhibited at the London Exhibition

1892 W. W. and R. Johnson and Sons was registered on 18 January, to acquire the business of white-lead makers, lead rollers and metal merchants of the firm of the same name.

1894 Amalgamation with Locke, Lancaster and Co, lead merchants and desilverisers, under the title of Locke, Lancaster and W. W. and R. Johnson and Sons [1]
