1948 Part of Tilling Motor Services. Owned Keighley-West Yorkshire Services Ltd; owned half interest in York-West Yorkshire Joint Committee and Otley Omnibus Stations Ltd. Nationalised; acquired by the British Transport Commission[1]

1987 The company was sold to its management. NBC had already sold off the company's properties. West Yorkshire ran 400 buses, coaches and minibuses, from depots in Bradford, Harrogate, Keighley, Leeds, Otley and York.[2]
