1931 The company opened extensive new offices and workshops on Cowbridge Road, Ely, Cardiff.[1]

1970 Was one of the 2 largest bus operators in rural Wales when it looked to local councils for subsidies to maintain services[2]

1972 National Bus Co reorganised its subsidiary companies in South Wales: South Wales Transport and Western Welsh (Rhondda, Red and White, Jones Group).[3]
