1897 Company registered
1899 The Times entered into a contract with Wicks to supply any quantity of new type every day.
1900 Lucien Alphonse Legros started work with the company; he was subsequently appointed engineer to the company and introduced improved designs and methods of production.
1906 Acquired by the Blackfriars Type Foundry
