War Services.—Assistant Field Engineer, Khyber Field Force, 1879; Assistant Field Engineer, Rumpa Field Force, 1879-80; Assistant Field Engineer Suakin Field Force, 1885. Served in Great War 4 t years; France, 1915-16-17; C. R.E., 34th Division; mentioned in Dispatches, January I, 1917.
