1888 J. and E. Wood of Bolton installed a Compound Condensing Engine of 2,000 ihp at their mill. [1]

1891 Directory: Listed as cotton spinners and manufacturers. More details

1898 The company was registered on 14 October, in reconstruction of a company carrying on the business of cotton spinners, under the same title. [2]
