1759 Born

Apprenticed at Cochar and Gibbon and then a partner.

Married Elizabeth Cochar

1790 Founded Alexander Hall and Co. He took over the business of Cochar and Gibbon.

His sons James and William joined him in his ship building business.

1849 Died
