Maker of Blakeys Boot Protectors and other products

1935 Blakeys Boot Protectors Ltd had several subsidiaries and acquired Pennine Chain Belt Co[1]

By 1936 was a publicly quoted company

1964 600 people were employed at the Leeds foundry[2]

1969 at some time after this the name was changed to Blakeys (Metal Castings)[3]

By 1973 the company was known as Blakeys (Metal Castings)[4]

1984 Acquired by Williams Holdings[5]
