Brush Midland Electric Light and Power Co

1881 Company incorporated; the word "Brush" was used in the title to distinguish from other similar names.

1882 Succeeded in defending its name against the claim of the Midland Electric Light and Power Co that there was likelihood of confusion between the 2 companies[1]

1885 Absorbed by the Anglo-American Brush Electric Light Corporation; the company was then liquidated[2]
