Cwmfelin Steel and Tinplate Works was located in the Lower Swansea Valley

Davies and Son operated Cwmfelin Tin Plate works

1885 The Cwmfelin Tin Plate Company started operation at the works.

1896 The Swansea Tin Plate Company took over the works.

1905 The Cwmfelin Steel and Tin Plate Co company was registered on 26 June, to acquire the undertaking of the company of the same name. [1]

1908 Redbourn Hill Iron and Coal Co was sold to the Cwmfelin Steel and Tin Plate Co, in which the Thomas family had a large interest[2].

Until 1917 the Cwmfelin Steel and Tin Plate Co Limited operated the works at which point Richard Thomas and Co took over the works.
