Underground installation of electric motors in mines of Cambrian Collieries.

1895 Ordered two portable drilling machines from Siemens Brothers and Co, Woolwich; one to drill 2" holes, the other to drill 1.5" dia holes.[1]

1910 D. Selby-Bigge read a paper to The Iron and Steel Institute on "Developments in the Production of Electric Power". [2]
