George Henry Denton (1879-1967) of Denton and Co

1879 Born in Barnsley the son of James Denton

1901 Living at 70 Sheffield Road, Barnsley: James Denton (age 62 born Barnsley), Hardware, Iron, Oil and Fancy Shopkeeper. With his wife Elizabeth Denton (age 64 born Barnsley) and their three children; Sarah Elizabeth Denton (age 35 born Barnsley); Emily Ann Denton (age 32 born Barnsley); and George Henry Denton (age 21 born Barnsley), Photographer.[1]

1911 Living at 56 Sheffield Road, Barnsley: George Henry Denton (age 30 born Barnsley), Photographer and Picture Framer. With his two sisters and niece who are assisting in the business.[2]
