1946 Agricultural engineer Ivor Searle started engine reconditioning business in the village of Wicken trading as Wicken Crankshaft and Bearing Co

1967 Ivor Searle’s son Colin Searle joins the business aged 17.

1973 Ivor Searle’s son Michael Searle joins the business.

1977 Company renamed Ivor Searle

1983 Moved to purpose built 10,000 square feet factory at Soham
