J. G. White and Co of 9 Cloak Lane, Cannon Street, London, EC

1900 Incorporated as a limited company. The company was registered on 10 July, to take over all business outside of North America of J. G. White and Co of New York, electrical engineers and contractors. [1]

1914 Electrical, civil and mechanical engineers and contractors. Specialities: contracts for railways, tramways, hydraulic power developments, water supply etc. [2]

1919 English Electric Co arranged the amalgamation of the contracts department of Dick, Kerr and Co with that of J. G. White and Co in the form of the Consolidated Construction Co, which eliminated one of the main competitors in the field[3]
