John Bull Rubber Co of Leicester.
1934 Leicester Rubber Co changed its name to John Bull Rubber Company. The JB heavy tread car tyre was launched to supplement the manufacture and sales of motor and motorcycle tyres and accessories.
1937 The company went on an entirely new venture - the manufacturer of rubber to metal components under the name of Metalastik. This associated company was formed on 25th May 1937 under the general management of Mac Goldsmith.
