1804 Born at Bridgnorth the son of John Bickerton Whitehead and his wife Nancy Poulton

1881 Living at 4 Bow Street, Bilston: John P. Whitehead (age 77 born Bridgnorth), Blank Tray Manufacturer employing 3 men and 7 boys. Widower. Two servants.[2]

1886 Died and the business passed to Joseph Sankey and Sons
