1851 Living at Manor Cottage, Manor Street, Leeds (age 37 born Kirkstall), a Hide and Skin Broker. With his wife Hannah (age 35 born Kirkstall) and their daughter Mary (age 3 born Kirkstall). Also his widow mother-in-law Sarah Pratt (age 66 born Birstall). One servant. [1]

1861 Living at Willow Terrace Road, Leeds (age 47 born Kirkstall), a Hide and Skin Broker employing 15 men. With his wife Hannah (age 45 born Kirkstall). Also their sons Charles (age 23 born Horsforth), a Hide and Skin Broker, and George Watson (age 21 born Kirkstall), a Hide and Skin Broker. Three servants and a visitor.

1871 Living at Woodhouse Lane, Leeds (age 57 born Kirkstall), a Hide Broker. With his wife Hannah (age 55 born Kirkstall) and son Charles (age 32 born Kirkstall), a Hide Broker. Two servants. [2]

1873 February 24th. Died age 58 at Rushingham Terrace, Woodhouse Lane, Leeds. [3]
