KLG Sparking Plugs

of Putney and later of Treforest
Kenelm Lee Guinness invented the KLG sparking plug. [1] He was from the famous brewing family.
1919 sold world distribution rights to Smiths
1922 Made by the Robinhood Engineering Works.
c.1927 Sold to Smiths.
1937 Kennelm Lee Guinness died.
1937 Manufacturers of sparking plugs and sparking plug wireless screens. "K.L.G." Sparking Plugs.
1939 See Aircraft Industry Suppliers
c.1940 They set up a shadow factory at Treforest, in South Wales, to protect the business from bombing. After the war production continued at both places.
1963 Motor Show exhibitor. Sparking plugs.
