1968 Barron and Crowther was acquired by Thomas W. Ward; it was complementary to Marshall Richards Machine Co, makers of wire-drawing machinery, already part of the Ward group[4]

1970 Presumably part of Marshall Richards Barcro of Eastleigh, maker of wire drawing machinery[5]
