- The Mid-Kent (Bromley to St Mary Cray) Railway was a 2.5 mile line that continued the route of the West End of London and Crystal Palace Railway. It opened between 1858-60. 
- 1856 The company was incorporated.
- In 1923 it became part of the Southern Railway.
