1901 The company was registered on 6 February, in reconstruction of a company of similar title, as the International Okonite Co, to acquire the businesses of manufacturers of okonite insulated wire of the Okonite Co of New York, and Shaw and Connolly of Manchester (since discontinued) with foreign and colonial patents.
