1914 Scottish Malt Distillers Limited was established by a group of five Lowland distillers: The Clydesdale Distillery Company Limited, Wishaw; A and J Dawson Limited, Linlithgow; Glenkinchie Distillery, The Rosebank Distillery Limited, Falkirk and William Young and Co Limited, Burntisland

1925 Acquired by Distillers Co in a move to tackle over production of malt whisky[1]
